This week, the COVID-19 testing site in Pflugerville is closing. Health officials hope the decrease in demand for this facility is a sign of fewer cases.
The Heritage Park drive-thru site in Pflugerville has been operating since Feb. 14, 2022.
This testing expansion was possible thanks to cooperation between Austin Public Health (APH), the City of Pflugerville and Spartan Medical.
The last day of operations is Wednesday, March 16. Testing is still recommended if you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19.
COVID-19 testing is still available at Metz Elementary in East Austin and APH staff offers in-home testing throughout Travis County.
Each household can order two sets of four free at-home tests through the United States government.
