Austin Strategic Mobility Plan open for feedback as city leaders review amendments

Dear Neighbors,   We have heard from many of you about the proposed amendments to the Austin Strategic Mobility Plan. At the end of February, Austin Transportation Department staff released an updated draft of the proposed amendments. Due to concerns about the lack of sufficient notification, staff has sent out an additional notice to all contacts in the Community Registry as well as to stakeholders who receive the ATD Mobility Newsletter. This second round of public engagement will be open until the end of March while staff present the updated draft to Boards and Commissions as well as the City Council Mobility Committee tomorrow (Thursday) at 1 p.m.   The dates of the presentations are below: ·      Council Mobility Committee: Thursday, March 10, 1 p.m.  ·      Bicycle Advisory Council: Tuesday, March 15, 6 p.m.  ·      Zoning and Platting Commission: Tuesday, March 29, 6 p.m.  ·      Comprehensive Plan Joint Committee: Thursday, April 14, 12 p.m.  ·      Planning Commission: Tuesday, May 10, 6 p.m.  Public feedback can be provided and is welcomed at all of the above meetings.   You can also provide feedback through this form.
