Join Austin Parks and Recreation and Austin Parks Foundation for a ribbon cutting on Monday, November 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Govalle Neighborhood Park, 5200 Bolm Rd. to celebrate the renovation of the playground area, basketball court upgrades, connection trails and the installation of a new multi-purpose field for the community. The ribbon cutting ceremony welcomes public attendance. This is an outdoor park event, so please dress accordingly.
Three community engagement meetings were held during design development. This project was made possible thanks to funding contributions from APF board-designated ACL funds, OHT Partners, LLC Tres Grace Foundation, Jay Paul Company, Hershey Foundation, Urban Forestry Grant, PlaceMkr and Parkland Dedication funding.
