It’s never too late to learn learn and improve swimming skills. Are you a strong swimmer? Want to earn some extra money? The City of Austin is hiring hundreds of lifeguards to work at pools across Austin. This year, temporary aquatic jobs pay $20 an hour and up to $750 in bonuses plus a $400 training stipend, all based on the number of hours worked. City staff also get a free bus pass and paid sick leave. You must be at least 15 years old to be a lifeguard. Training and uniforms are free. Apply and train to be a lifeguard now.
