EDIMS is the City’s official document storage tool. It is used for document creation, retrieval, and secure storage. EDIMS stores important city documents such as Council, Board and Commission reports, contracts, birth and death certificates, and publication of public records, and has been in use since 2006. There are approximately 3 million documents managed through the system and approximately 3TB of data stored. More than 10 City departments utilize this tool to manage, share, and preserve City information and promote transparency for citizens.
This maintenance is being completed to upgrade the database that supports the EDIMS program. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve city tools and services.
