Excessive Heat Warning Issued for Austin-Travis County July 10, 2022

 

Additional Heat Safety Resources Are Available

The National Weather Service issued an Excessive Heat Warning for the Central Texas area for Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with temperatures ranging from 107 to 108 degrees. Public safety officials urge residents to stay safe in the heat and follow heat safety tips. Cooling Center details can be found at www.austintexas.gov/alerts in multiple languages. New Heat Safety Resources 
CapMetro is offering free rides to cooling centers for as long as the excessive heat warning is in effect. No one will be denied service to a cooling center.
