Upcoming Changes to Seasonal Pool Hours



As summer comes to an end, the Austin Parks and Recreation Department's Aquatic Division will transition from seasonal summer operations to winter schedules.
 

Seasonal Closures

Friday, September 3 is the final day for seasonal operations at:

  • Govalle Pool
  • Shipe Pool
Sunday, September 5 is the final day for seasonal operations at:
  • Dottie Jordan Pool
  • Civitan Pool
  • West Austin Pool
Monday, September 6 is the final day for seasonal operations at:
  • Garrison Pool
  • Mabel Davis Pool
  • Walnut Creek Pool
     
 

Year-Round Pools Resume Daily Operation

Monday, September 6, year-round facilities begin daily operations, including:
  • Liz Carpenter Fountain, 201 Dawson Rd. (other splash pads will close September 26, 2021)
  • Springwoods Pool, 13320 Lyndhurst St.
  • Bartholomew Pool, 1800 E. 51st St.
  • Barton Springs Pool, 2131 William Barton Dr. (Closed Thursday for cleaning)
  • Big Stacy Pool, 700 E. Live Oak St.
  • Deep Eddy Pool, 401 Deep Eddy Ave.
